Getting to Kelso

Kelso is situated on the River Tweed at its junction with the River Teviot, in the Scottish Borders, close to the border with England. It lies within easy reach of Edinburgh (43 miles) and Newcastle (69 miles), with nearest railway stations at Berwick-upon-Tweed (23 miles) and Tweedbank (16 miles). A bus connection runs hourly from Tweedbank to Kelso (40 min) and from Berwick-upon-Tweed (1 hour).
